Park History

These facilities were constructed on property that came into the City's ownership as part of a larger neighborhood redevelopment project in this part of the community in the 1970s. The historic plaque honoring famed bluesman Bling Boy Fuller is on the American Tobacco Trail adjacent to Elmira Avenue Park.
