Come out and take a breath of fresh air at Walltown Park! Bring your family out! Everyone would need to register individually. We will do a variety of different bodyweight exercises together. Each exercise will have modifications so everyone can work out at the same time while having fun, and getting our bodies stronger.

For kids of all ages, come enjoy great weather and music at Holton’s Kite Fest. It’s a fun and safe way to spend the afternoon. This is a free program and participants are required to wear a mask. Participants will receive their own kite and will have an assigned area on the field to ensure a safe distance. There will be DPR staff on hand to provide kite flying tips and assist with mending kites that need a little help. Spots are limited so register today!

Looking for a new hobby that is both challenging and calming? Or maybe you’re looking for a hobby that dates back centuries, with roots in cultures all over the world? Then learning to use a drop spindle is for you! In today’s hectic world, learning the art of spinning wool into yarn offers a unique skill building opportunity as well as a time for calm meditation. Instructor Hannah Smith will introduce participants to the art of using the drop spindle, provide historical background, and offer individualized support for participants in this virtual program. This relaxing and engaging hands-on craft is sure to be a new favorite pastime! Registration is required to participate in the Zoom sessions. Materials will be provided. No experience is necessary.
