This academy is designed to teach basic introductory soccer skills to participants. The academy promotes an atmosphere of fun and sportsmanship among coaches, parents, and participants. All participants will attend skill sessions and scrimmages on Saturdays at C.M. Herndon Park.

We are going off trail with one of Durham's City Surveyors, Charles Wagner, on this History Hike to talk about how colonial surveyors would have surveyed the land, and how it is done today. This hike will be off trail and about two-miles long. No dogs on this hike. We will meet at the West Point Mill.

Take a guided-tour of Leigh Farm Park. You'll learn about the families who lived here, their work, and life on a middle-class plantation. Venture inside the historic farmhouse while also visiting the enslaved people's cabin, speakeasy, and the Leigh Family Cemetery.

Join us as we explore the arts, science, and history of the world around us! This edition will focus on the historic career of land surveying. West Point on the Eno has had centuries of surveyors come to map its area from Colonial times to the present. Children will make and take home one of the oldest and most useful surveying tools: a compass! This is sure to be an engaging and enjoyable program for participants and their adults. In order to assist with social distancing guidelines, we will be limiting the number of registrants to 10 per session. Please only register for one session.

Take a guided tour of West Point on the Eno's historic buildings and grounds. While visiting the West Point Mill, McCown-Mangum House, and Hugh Mangum Museum of Photography, you will hear stories about the people who lived, worked, and played here.
