They say baseball is Americas pastime, but what about fishing? Americans have been fishing for as long as anyone can remember, but they were using cane poles, linen line, and eyeless hooks. Try your hand at fishing, 19th century style! Come alone or bring the whole gang, and we'll set you up with the all the gear you'll need. We will host short hands-on workshops near the West Point dam so you will know how to prepare your tackle, no experience necessary. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Join Jon Twietmeyer and several of his senior photography students from Riverside High School as they guide you through their current exhibit. Each photograph has a story; from scouting the location, playing with light, techniques used in the dark room or a specific aspect of the subject is highlighted. These topics and more will be explored during the gallery talk at the Hugh Mangum Museum of Photography.
