Currently, water levels at Lake Michie have reached a point where launching motorized boats from the ramp poses a significant risk of damage to the boats. We must temporarily close access to motorized boats until conditions improve.

Project Background:

Lake Michie Dam and Pump Station was constructed in 1925. The Lake Michie and Little River Raw Water Pump Station Improvements project will provide comprehensive rehabilitation of the raw water pump stations at both Lake Michie and Little River. This will include, new pumps, piping, valves, electrical gear, wiring, HVAC, lighting, instrumentation, and architectural improvements. There are also improvements relative to the dams themselves. The project cost totals $70M and the project duration to complete all work at both sites is approximately 3 years.
