Rock Quarry Dog Park

Rock Quarry Dog Park has officially opened its gates to the public. This brand-new dog park serves as a remarkable replacement for the Northgate Dog Park. The dog park is located along the Rock Quarry Spur Trail in the large wooded area along the east side of the trail. The Rock Quarry Spur Trail runs from the parking lot at Edison Johnson Recreation and Aquatic Centers to the parking lot on the north side of the park for the tennis courts. After months of diligent construction efforts, the project reached its completion in late Spring 2023. So, dog owners and their canine companions, rejoice! The Rock Quarry Dog Park is now ready to provide countless hours of fun and excitement for all. View the Rock Quarry Park Map for details on where the Dog Park is located within the park. 

Small Dog Area

• 15 inches or smaller
• 30 pounds and under

Large Dog Area

• 15 inches and taller
• 30 pounds and over

Program Area

The Program Area is open to all but also can be used for special playgroups or an organized activity.

Dog Park Monthly Maintenance Schedule

The dog park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of every month for routine maintenance.

Dog Park Registration
